have the grace to ask...

sigh, i just got back from butterwills? i think thats what its called. i sat there for a good 3 hours, drinking 2 gorgeous, brilliant beers, taking the largest step back i've ever taken. the boys can reconigize this step because i force them to do it, haha. the reason i wanted to go have a few drinks alone, is due to the only fact that im in cant.terbury. its amazing to me to be listening to the songs ive been hearing for the last 3 hours and staring at life in its most literal form ever.

this summer...what have i done. well, ive passed a class thats taken me 4 times to pass, not only passed but ended up with a b. proved to myself that i do in all honesty have the control i thought i did. i also, went skydiving 3 weeks prior to leaving for england. yes dad, i spent 303 dollars at san marcos skydive. buying a t-shirt, a 100 dollar pass to go again, and my jump right before.

i honestly could care less about money.

the best moment i've had since ive been here just happened. i took the mepaphorical step back and realized how much ive accomplished since age 0. ive graduated high school, been a vital part of a band that was placed 7th in the state o texas. ive proved college board wrong, i've learned how to make coffee to the most perfectious sense. ive had my heart broken. ive listened to the greatest music, at the greatest times...ever. ive discovered what its like to walk on fire. ive understood the ideas of relativism and absolutism. ive walked on the same floor that jayson williams, carlos boozer, shawn battier, grant hill, michael jordan, and elton brand has walked on....ive been steps away from coach k, ive shook barack obama's hand, ive understood the idea that is an internal locas of control...

ive proved college board wrong

ive bussed tables, ive gotton speeding tickets. been burnt by the metaphorical flame. ive touched stonehenge, ive done something that scared me...everyday. ive fallen 2 miles out of the air, ive done so much that i cant even come to realize the feeling i have right now....

the thing that gets me about england is...almost the way that ive proved myself, to be myself. for instance, i just got a nother free glass from a pub. reason being because ive got the kind of charisma to talk someone into that. im able to b.s with them just longenough to get what i want.

when i was in london, i realized that i will never be dictated by any one event ever. i hope that i can go to sleep.

wimbleton..wimbledon...waldo...wally....waldo...WALLY

ok so wheres waldo here is called...wheres wally. ugh...haha, funny moment at the penny last night with my good bartender friend pete. and apparently we say wimbledon with a 't'. but its ok i caught our friend tim saying ya'll....!

bahaha

So, apologies again about lack of posting of the blog-age. Yeah, be mad, do it. i know you are....i just got out of class today at around 10:30 because i had my first class...persuasion. then i had to do my presentation for my independent study. i read a book called 'why zebras don't get ulcers.' yeah, it was a tough, exausting read. it was ROUGH. lots of neuroscience, biology, and about 3 sentences of psychology. but still really, ubber interesting.

[skip this paragraph if ya dont wanna know about psychological-ness]

what i had to do was present the relationship of growth and stress in adoloescence. and of course i know how interested you are to know the relationship about this. its kinda nuts, your parents can literally be so bad...that you are dwarfed physically and obviously psychologically. hit me with some comments if ya wanna know, thats the infomercial of my presentation...so let me know if ya wanna know more...but the presentation went fantastically well. i think i may have gotton an a, my teacher said that i had the most interesting cleaver way to describe an inverse relationship. i used 2 cups of dr. pepper and poured them back and forth. homework assignment is you with two glasses trying to figure that out....;)

aaaaanyway, so i spent the entire day yesterday in london...we went to westminster abbey and left cant.terbury freaking early as hell. i woke up at 7 with the plan to go get coffee, and ended up...sleeping for way too long and got up at 8 and met up with everyone for the walk, nay, hike...nay, jourey, nay, EXPEDITION to the train station. our friend sarah wears heels everywhere, which blows my mind cause how the hell can you walk that much on those...im not a girl and im ubber impressed. its ok, liz explained the finer relationship between walking and falling in heels.

its gonna be her thesis going into grad school...

aaaaaanyway, so here it is we get to london's station and walk about a mile down to westminster. now the abbey is actually where alot of england's most famed people are buried. so, people like Charles Darwin, Queen Elizabeth I, Sir Issac Newton, Winston Churchill, all the royality. its freaking amazing. the weird thing though, is that a) they wouldnt let us take pictures...b) they wouldnt give us a map of whos buried where. so we'd be walking around and be like...woah, theres darwin. theres, newton...it was crasyness. (the english seem to be against using 'z'. realize is spelled realise, nuts huh!?!) anyway, so the abbey was amazing...i dropped a guitar pick onto churchill's grave by 'accident' so....thats kinda cool i guess...

...and...then....it...HAPPENED!!!!

we were walking around having a good time, eating our expensive food when someone tells me about a rumor. i'm not one to believe alot of rumors, but if theres a chance to see someone than i'd love the opportunity, like what do i have to lose right? well a bunch of people approved 'said rumor' and even the guys running the place approved it. so liz and gabby and i (i fixed my grammer mom, you'd of FREAKED out had you seen what i typed before, sigh) anyway.. go to prove them all wrong, because we didnt believe that he was here. we were, naw, theres no freaking way...theyre yanking our chains, cause we're dumb ole americans....naw, it was true...sylvester stallon was walking around westminster with his family. haha, you read it right mis bloger friend. we're walking around looking at everything, and freaking rocky is hanging out over there in a black shirt and aviators. (not conspicious at all!!) but, it was really cool to see the guy. so gabby and i forced ourselvs into a postion where we could maybe get him to talk to us. mission one. well, we're standing literally right behind rambo, and i say

me: "man thats an old piano, i just wanna jam out!"

rocky: "....."

gabby: "gee i wonder what this is" (as she points right at what he's looking at"

rambo: "........"

us....lame, he's with the fam its understandable.

anyway, so that was freaking amazing. of all the people to see, theres he is walking around. it was nuts!!!!!!!! i was gonna go up and introduce myself but, he was with the fam i didnt wanna impose, that aint cool
anyway, so after the rambo sighting we made fun of everyone for not believing us and we headed for the imperical war museum. now this museum as can see looks like a freaking high school. but the inside was AMAZING. about 5 total floors with many of exhibits. gabby and i ended up spending about 3 hours in there. we were blown. a. way. there were exhibits from d-day to the holocaust. from the rise of hitler to a 007 exhibition. we're definatly going back next tuesday. my camera died in the middle of it all so thats lame-age. but i'll get more tuesday.
the holocaust exhibit really got me. i wasnt able to take pics, but there was this table that they set up where they used to give lethal injections to physically and mentally ill or challened people. they had this table of auschwitz (the death camp in germany) and they showed where the trains went, where the barracks were and the 'ramp.' the ramp is where a nazi doctor would decide who is fit for work and who will be sent to the gas chambers or the 'showers.' they usually sent the pregnant women, women, children and elderly to the chambers, only taking the 'fit for work.' it was really powerful seeing the line of people, even in a model.
annnnnnnnyway, so i also saw the v-2 rocket which was used in part of the blitz on london. the blitz was a huge bombing of london where something like 16000 civilians were killed by german air raids around 1940. its nuts to be in that kind of city. apparently cant.terbury got hit real hard too, theres a creater around here somewhere. and a museum of an ancient roman house that they found when they were cleaning up after the blitz. nuts eh?
anyway, so we left the museum after seeing just amazing stuff. and headed towards waterloo where we stopped at a pub and had a kroneburg. i added to my glass collection, now at 8, by getting a glass from london. bahah. those WERE gonna be souvies, buuuuut. im still debating on that one. well thats pretty much it, after the bur, we left on the train getting back to cant.terbury and passed out early. got up did what i did in the first paragraph...and now i'm here.
we leave for ROME tomorrow. vatican will be friday, collosium, saturday. obviously thats not ALL we're gonna see but its the basic plan so far. ive got it all planned out, from meeting up with trey (my hostle roomie) to when and where we go where. i dont even care, im gonna quarterback this one, make sure we hit everywhere where everyone wants to go. thank you rick steves. and dad. much thanks to dad. and amazon.
anyway, so thats the story. i'm gonna go to strada, a restraunt down the street where i have a cup of COFFEE not this americano crap...tis good sctuff. theres usally a street performer there whos got a PHENOMINAL voice, he playes live's lightning crashes all the time. its amazing, john i know you'd love it. anyway, im done here...enjoy the heat!
[by the way, the pics are uploading on photobucket. im gonna get the link, and put it at the bottom, there are about 300 something on there. im working on getting the rest up. im working with pc's so be patient. i miss my mac. good god i think i have typing ADHD. this is bad!?!]
here's the link....

...flowerparts

sigh, bob schneider is amazing. i'm jamming out to flowerparts, the boys will know how amazing that song is. not as good as king of the world, but what is??

yesterday real quick was fast paced. i had class at nine then i went to st. augestines abbey. not really that impressed to be honest, but it was ubbbbber old so it was cool. many o things happened there so i had to love it, but there were no guided tours so it wasnt very impressive to me....i should have gotton the audio tour but...oh well. seriously all we did was walk around, be amazed, then run around as if we were hannah (mcgee's daugter, 8, who is energy ... in a kid) and roll down hills....good times.

MWAHAHAHA

anyway, so today was so low key, lazy and fun. its nice to take a flinging flanging break! i had a bunch of school stuff to do, so after class i went to bean inspired (new favorite coffee place) had my americano, cured my hangover and read for like 2 hours. i have a presentation due on thursday for my independent study where i have to explain the relationship between growth and stress. yeah, thanks mom, ya made me short...GAW...bahha

moving on...after class i excurted with the antrhopology class to the cant.terbury castle (again), heard about the differences between anglican and catholoic (that i didnt know) from dr. mack daddy mcgee and found out that only roman arches are pointy. the others are an english thing, to round them. the castle was all in ruins as you can see, nothing as amazing as dover's castle (wink) because it was all still intact...

oh fyi, im getting pics up on photobucket, 50 at a time and ive got like 752 so it is a slow process. and again, i dont wanna spend the entire time here at the computer when i could be drinking my americano or my kroneburg. sigh..good stuff

thennnnn after the castle we went to the grey friars house and hung out with the monks. very funny, our friend tamera was walking around in the garden, and...haha there was a monk, just...taking a nap. all passed out in the fetal position....haha....funnnyness. i guess he needs his rest, he freaking gets up at 3:30, does his monk thing all day...then goes to sleep at like 6...?

thai food was next, or so we thought. we walked to this place we've been walking around all the time we've been here. saying how much we wanna try it. finally we did. we got to the first place, and it was closed. second place right next to it, closed. third place....open. nice, classy place, all thailanded out. i did a stir fry with crab, like 2 pieces of crab by the way LAME, but it was still good.

bryan and i went to a music shop and pretended like we could afford the sweet guitars they had. but unfortunatly we dont have the bank account of one charles barkley, (odd choice of a rich person huh?) so we didnt buy anything. aaaaanyway, we did jam out for a qhile. it twas fun. then, came back to lan franc and got my book (thanks dad) a rick steves book about europe. giving me all the low down about how to go around europe.

then it happened...

dropped my ipod down the 3 flights of stairs outside our door. yes, i did it. damn thing STILL works. eerly reminesecent of the time my phone vibrated its self into the hot tub at u-springs. haha, so funny to see a phone ring inside a hot tub. how didnt i get electricuted???

the weather today was freaking awesome. jeans and a tshirt was perfectness, all not cold/hot or anything. took a lame ass shower, with NO water pressure, because apparetly that is how the english do it. its around 7 here, im gonna go have A beer at the penny a little later then pass out for westimenster abbey and the BBC tour tomorrow. lots of sctuff to do, so i wanna get some good sleep. i'm always tired here due to the lack of iced coffees.

...lame.

i got made fun of today for teaching my good friend (insert name here) at bean inspired how to make a iced coffee. see theres no just strait filtered coffee. its all americanos, lattes, espresso sctuff. so, i told him. do 2 shots, cold water and milk on top. then wait a little bit and ice it.

the same guy that when i asked if they had red bull in europe, he told me they have 'blue cow' energy drink....sigh

very funny guy though, real sarcastic, but funny. he made so much fun of me for drinking it and liking it. he said he's gonna try one and talk to me tomorrow.

anyway, so i'm done here. im charging the crap outta my camera with my five different converters and plugs so i can finish getting pics up. every single picture...i...have....taken.

anyway, enjoy the heat. i was wearing a hoodie today, SUCKAS!!!

ok im done, talk to ya tomorrow!!! thanks again Dad!!!!!

we have a few late arrivals...GO RUN!

...nuff said

sigh, dude i just took an amazing nap. i've given up on trying to wake up early everyday and go to bed really late, and still enjoy england. i'm having a hard time being unconscious in england, as i wanna go see stuff!! oh well...

so...theres this whole paris thing ya probably wanna know about. i went there with my brand new girlfriend liz, shes a great girl..her mamma did a great job...we had ourselvs a jolly ole time. we left cant.terbury around 6:30, to find out the train station (cant.terbury east) was closed. so we had 20 minutes to catch a train from the other station across town, about a 20 minute walk. lame.

so, we grabbed a taxi and i honestly thought i was gonna die...this guy was making sure we wouldnt miss our train. he was an awesome guy though...he took me up to kent and i only had a 20, the fare was like 7.60, and he let me go on 7...he's a good guy...

anyway, so we finally get to the train station, then get to london...and the victoria line is closed. thats the one that takes us from the first train to our eurostar, the one thats gonna get us to france. well, we have to phinagle (literally todd, its the correct use of the word damnit!!) our way around town and stroll the streets of london trying to find our station.....whoo, it was rough trying to keep up with miss walkie mc.power walk! so we get to the station on time.......or so we thought...

then it happened...

we hear from the train...people?...that 'we have two late arrivavls with no luggage, permission for them to run to the train?'...'yes, we can take two more'...holy crap, so walkie talky lady grabs my ticket and passport and tells me to throw my backpack on the conveyor belt and huscle...i thought i needed my ticket to get on the train, but...whatever. then i throw my crap up there, and she gives me my stuff and shows us to the door and tells us to run up that and turn left and RUN!

...poor us

we were running as fast as we could, and as any girl would do, liz packed a bag for only ONE day that was freaking HUGE!! it was fun to make fun of her, but then again she was out-running me so...whatever. well we get to the train, and the guy says.

'way to go chaps, you made it, hop on.'

anyway, get on the train and about an hour and a half later we are in france, and its absolutly beautiful weather. so nice to sit back and chill. we've been go go go here in cant.terbury, and we finally had a chance to sit and relax...eat cheese, drink wine. pretend we knew french. ya know, the norm. well i had an amazing sandwich at some frenchie place, the waiter knew little inglea (i kept calling it ingles, like in spanish, so all the french peeps thought i was dumb...) and he was really nice to us, showed me the best sandwich...he was a good guy

num nums

then we did the arc de trioumph (forgive my attempt of french, i really did try to understand it...) and it was weird to not only be walking down the street where in about 3 or 4 days the tour de france ends..but where the nazi's were marching on when they owned this area. ive seen so many pics of that, it was just eery almost. the arc was amazing though, to see somewhere were also (i cant remember his name) but that black olympian won the marathon in the face of hitler as he runs through the arc de triomph. thats gonna bug the crap outta me. anyway, it was awesome...

...insane

so then it was eifel tower time, where i tripped over a 42 year old man with a 43 year old lady making out like banchies...ok not really but there was alot of making outage. it was so, so, so, so, so, so cool to be standing at that place. the thing that i can't get out of my mind is a picture of hitler standing with the eifel tower in the background. it really makes me feel like i need to go to normandy where the d-day beachs are, just to pay some respect. its a weird feeling hanging out here where 50 years ago all of this nazi stuff was going down. i just wanna find an old guy and have a kronenburg with him and talk to him about it...but thats for a nother day.

just weird

anyway, so on a better note....

after the eifel tower we did the lueve where i found my mommas gift o pear.dis. we didnt actually go in because we had so little time in paris, we just wanted to see the sites and get a chance to come back later. we saw much of the palace for king george (? could be king rick, jeff i dont know, franc?) because the palace is where the leuve was. it was amazing to see the building, it twas gorgeous.

so, we were walking around just strolling paris, amazing by everything. and we came to this bridge where it overlooked the river and the eifel tower. it was freaking awesome. there was a street performer playing a trombone and a drum set downstairs from the bridge. he was amazing....it was amazing...

anyway, so then i got hungry and whiney and tried to force liz to go eat...and then i realized i wasnt that hungry...more tired. wow this is a little too in depth of the trip....

haha, the NEXT day (moving on) we went to notre dame. literally my biggest thing in paris was seeing notre dame. we saw it from a distance a bunch while we were cabbing all around town (expensive, totally worth it) but we wernt that close to it. so its around 11:15 when we walked in and we were just strolling the gorgeous-ness of it, and we noticed that mass was at 11:30. so we literally said what the hell, lets do mass. (which is always a good thing to say when youre deciding to go to church, by the way). anyway, so we sit down and i kinda start to take in the fact that im sitting in mass, at freaking notre dame.

...i think my mamma is crying right now, saying 'wow mike'

wow...

literally, shes tearing up as if it were full house...haha, sorry mama. aaaaaaanyway, so the service started with so many priests, like...5 or 6. they started mass, and was it in english...? no. was it in french...? no. was it in....sign language........? no. it was in flinging flanging latin. which made it that much cooler to hear "in nomine patri, et fili, spiritu santi" which was really catholoic of me to know what that meant. jr can vouch for my catholoic-ness. anyway, so the mass started and i always felt that when the music starts and the priests start walking up that im at a basketball game of some kind. it felt like, ya know they start playing the music when they introduce the players??? no???

at left priest, 5'11" from vatican city...the italian stallion!!!! fatttttttthhhhhhhuuuurrrrrrr mmmmmaaaaaaarrrrrrkkkkkkkkkk

in the middle, down low we've the priest the beast, fathhhhuuuurrrrahhhhhh wwwwwwwwillllllllllllll

at the eucharistic minister, 5' 7" from rome, father jack the mack daddy of mass....

...ok thats definatly enough of that, im sure i've got instant hell for that one. anyway, so mass was awesome, theres a video here, but its all audio cause they played hallelujah, with the organ, it was gorgeouso. then i took communion. it was, really amazing for someone who ALWAYS GOES TO CHURCH to take it in notre dame. seriously, it was really cool to do that. im glad i got an opportunity to do that. i tried to do the profession of faith in latin, haha, that went REAL well. yeah i think i was reading the wrong thing. it was worth a shot. with my luck, i probably told God...

our father, who art in brother the father the almighty. i believe in one holy and hallelujah, lord prepare me to be a sanctuary and bless o lord in these our gifts for we are about to receive from heaven to hills to earth. yeah thats probably what i asked for. good times.

anyway, so church was really cool. then we did lunch, like after church crowds do. we went to a little place i had a cheese omlet, that was...lame. liz's whatever was really good she said, which makes me feel great cause....i suck at choosing french food. then we did wine and met this cool little couple from philly. the guy kept telling me about how much he loves that t.o is in dallas not philly. i kept telling him how much i like it too. they were extreamly nice to us, and telling us how much they loved london...they were cool.

so, we've done eifel tower, notre dame, the leuve, arc de triouph, eaten at a french restraunt, pretended to know french, almost died in a cab, run to our train, got lost, drank wine and ate cheese. sigh, life is shit isnt it??? bahaha, dude so much fun, everything. from our chill time in paris to this moment right now after getting back from having coffee and studying. life is gooooodddahhh!!!

oh yeah, enjoy that heat!

so...where were we??

tomb....

The site of Jack the Ripper's first victim

This was in the Tower of London
FREAKING HENRY THE IV

isnt this somethin?

love this picture...

haha, i saw this in london

sigh, apologies about not blogging latly...its been go go go here....

so, last you heard it was tuesday after stonehenge, and i met a guy from boston...word...now its friday and its time to explain how much i love this place...

wednesday was a free day for us, we had no class...and a lot of people went to london to go hang out and do the london thing. i was stuck here because i was late getting to the courtyard..and they left without me...granted i did fall asleep so its totally cool. aaaanyway, so i went up to the university of kent, and i was not impressed... though this pic of the pond was nice

it looked like a usual college, nothing fancy, but they did have an atm that had no service fee. so that was nicccce....it was seriously like a high school, really nothing impressive. check out the pics, ya can understand.

anyway, i got a hoodie and a coffee mug (all for me, you'll be lucky if i bring anything back for you guys haha). no, i kid, i have gotten you guys some stuff already, i just walk around shops and see something that is perfect for cori, or claire bear. its expensive to be buying souvineers all the time but ive come away with some cool stuff.

i've decided i dont wanna go home with a bunch of crap, so ive stopped buying souvineers. like we went to cant.erbury cathdral thursday and i only bought a few things that have more sentimental value than materialistic-ness. im more into buying experiences than buying materials. so, that leads me to the cathedral....

yes i know its amazing. this is actually where thomas becket was murded by 4 of the french's kings knights. he was hanging out, having a good time, doing his bishop thing and these four knights were in town to kill him. well, the monks overheard these knights talking about doing becket (i'm actually turning a little mafia on ya right now) and the monks rushed becket into the church hoping for sanctuary. well, the knights didnt care, they went in there and theres becket, and they slice off his scalp (which is somewhere in the oldest church here, no one on this trip has found it yet) and then becket dies. all of the townies went rushing in after hearing all this and ran over to the bottom of the alter to dip their cloths in his blood, thinking that it was going to be cleansing....

anyway, theres where he actually was killed way back in the day. (1400s i think). Its still blowing my mind that these walls, floors, chairs, everything is truly that...old. wowza....

...i know
anyway, so...yesterday we did the london thing again and saw a hindu temple. it was...interesting. we had to be AT the train station at 7...so it was a very, very early day for all of us. it was rough getting up, and everyone here is so tired all the time cause its GO GO GO. but, yeah so we get to london and i am fallllllinnng asleeeeepppp. it was so hard to stay awake but i did enjoy the whole thing. that picture is from outside, because they wouldnt let us take pics inside the temple...we actually had to take our shoes off, drop our cameras and bags off outside the temple before we could go in.

they had a prayer session while we were there, that was...again very intersting. the cultural differences blow my mind. the temple actually gives away 1500 to 2000 meals a day, so they must be doing something right.

so, we get back to cant.terbury after passing out on the train...and we go back to lan franc, i pass out for a while, then grab some coffee at my new favorite place. coffee and corks, they do coffee..they do wine...itd be a great new name for seattles cause we all wine when we do coffee (haha, ugh, bad one huh?)

anyway, worked on a few things for school then met up with everyone at lan franc for the kent beer festival. oh yes my little blogging reading friend. we did. it was.......man, awesome. it was four pounds to ride the bus from cant.terbury to the farm where the festival was. so, we all pile in with our friend tim, english tim, and head out there. it was a double decker bus which was needed because it was paaachhhhhhacccked.

we get to the festival and i'm thinking, they've got some beers to try, not THAT many. haha, wow. just, wow. they had a program of all the beers and it was like....1400 different beers. i guess theyre going with the whole year theme...1400 years of cant.terbury, 1400 beers...haha, amazing

well, i had a few and then wanted to save a little bit of cash so we bailed after trying 4 or 5 of the local brews (5 to 11% alcohol by volume....pretty good) and we headed to the hub pub (the penny theatre). we didnt know this about our favorite pub but apparently the group of tx state kids got kicked out of penny and asked NOT to come back...so we dont act anything like those tool bags.

anyway, we had a few drinks and passed out pretty early, round 11 or 12. we were all beat from the constant GO GO GO that is this trip. i finally felt like i was on vacation the other day, when i was kicking back in london...drinking my coffee in 50 degree weather...just relaxing. its nice.

well, anyway, tomorrow is paris. so ive gotta get to packing and exchanging my money into euros. dad, gotcha covered on that tie ya wanted. mom, i've already found you some great stuff. jr, still looking, gotta find something for the man cave...cori, haha, got you covered easily. and cwaire bear, you'll love what i gotcha. todd, found ya something awesome...meghan, i'll keep looking for it...whatever it is. haha...ugh (fyi, loved that voice mail ya sent me)

so...that has been the last couple days of it all. i'm gonna throw in some pics of darwin's house...when i get back from paris,

by the way, heres where i have class every day..

anyway, i shall blog when i get back from paris...enjoy the heat!!!

red sox nation is global

haha, i just met a high school teacher from boston...cool guy

hey guys, comment so i know the site works...

many have told me they have some debaccles with it...and fyi, flicker has a limited monthly upload of gigs so lameness on that. i can buy a month limit of like 200000000 but, its like 24 bucks. so, we'll deal with that later

so, we did london today, it twas AMAZING!!! i'm suprised we have no excursions there, it seems like people NEED to see that. we saw big ben, did the tower o london, saw the jack the ripper tour. it was like an hour and a half and already about 4 by the time we started so, screw that...we had much homework to do. one of the group members got sent home for a 'serious violoation' of the rules. which, is sad for them. i dont know who it is, and i have, have to know. meh, its not my buidness...annnnyway

so tower of london was dissapointing, because like...it was more of a museum. and, not much of a castle. we saw the crown jewels, all the crowns and zepters from the before kings and queens. it was amazing to see your reflection in something thats as old as that. it was so freaking cool.

heres the pictures story by the way...its hard to upload them on these computers cause you have to do them one at a time. but i shall try to have the patience to get them up, its just hard cause im in freaking reeking england. i dont wanna spend time blogging all day.

anyway, ive gotta go head to the jolly sailor pub, i shall blog it later...by guys!

Sigh...goood times

Sleeping in is amazing. Except when youre in europe. I'm having a really hard time sleeping, sitting, doing anything but exploring when i'm here. today, i wanted to sleep in so i got up around 10, which really isnt sleeping in, but still HAD to get up and go do something, somewhere.

so pretty much everyone is gone, and my plan was to get to normandy to visit the d-day beaches. well normandy is actually the state in france that we invaded way back in the day. so the story was to take the train to dover, and take a ferry or the chunnel over to caen, normandy.

not so much. its easy to get to dover, actually ashcroft is where we would have ended up to take the chunnel. except they were going to take us from ashcroft through paris, to caen....which is about 5 and a half hours of travel.

...lame

so that didn't work out, and the ferry ended up taking 7 hours overnight or 5 and a half during the day. so we decided just to hang out in cant.terbury. so everyone had a whole bunch of homework to do, cause everyone is slacking hardcore on that anyway, so we had to catch up. i got my stuff done in like an hour, so i had an americano and walked around cant.terbury while everyone was being good students.

so, its like 5 now and i've got all the stuff for class done. i just got back from kent university, met up with gab town and bella...theyre still working on stuff. i think i lucked out with my teacher, natalie, shes freaking awesome. aaaaaaanyway, so yeah kent was lame. i was highly dissapointed, i'm used to thinking cant.terbury is all churchy and mythological? so it was weird going somewhere that all the buildings were built in like 1980, not 1490.

so lame blog i know, nothing really to say other than i gotta hoodie??? yeah, be excited. do it. yeah, nah, we have nothing planned for today and tomorrow so im gonna run into london tomorrow and meet up with mc-mags and lizdizzly. so, thats the story, we're gonna go explore a little more of cant.terbury when they all get done with their homework, then do the penny again tonight. good times there. kate loves us.

but, yeah, thats all thats going on. apologies for no really cool stories about rocks, castles or cathdrals. so...get over it...i shall return manana for more.
